API documentation

A small, predictable REST API

Create a key in your dashboard, send it as a Bearer token and get JSON back. The interactive OpenAPI reference is served by the API at /docs.

Authentication

Every /v1 request needs an Authorization header. Each request counts against your monthly quota; past the quota, accounts with an active subscription are billed for metered overage, and others receive 402 Payment Required.

Search companies

GET/v1/companies/search?q={name}&page=&page_size=

Case-insensitive name match, paginated up to 100 per page.

Returns the full record, including officers and source attribution.

Free website vs. metered API

The search and company pages on this site are free and open. The /v1 API is the metered product for programmatic access. Browsing the site never spends your API quota.
